Coastal Litter Picking in Cockerham

We hope you can join us for a fortnightly litter pick. With the tide coming and going there is always plenty of litter to be collecting from our beautiful coastline. Morecambe Bay is located on a SSSI (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) and with thousands of birds and wildlife that call our coatline home and/or come here to rest and nest throughout the seasons. Let's make it a healthy and clean place for them to come and thrive.

Important info

• We have limited pickers so please confirm your spot by RSVP'ing to ensure everyone has some picking equipment.
• If you have your own or prefer to use your own stuff them this is, of course, no problem.
• Please bring your own gloves
• You can stay for as little or as long as you wish.... any time you can share is welcome.
• Please remember to wrap up warm and wear your wellies or outdoor shoes. 

COVID-19 Information

• Social distancing will be maintained throughout the litter pick and it's possible to pick alone. We ask that you only come in your own household/support bubble.
• Equipment will be spayed after use
